This is as excellent a two horse bumper pull trailer as you will find in terms of design, fabrication and condition. My opinion but I think with plenty of basis.
2020 model, picked up by us from Hawk factory in northern Wisconsin in June, 2019. Purchased through Frank Di Bella Trailers of Pottstown PA. Di Bella has additional elements built into all trailers he gets from Hawk-- three additional cross-members to frame, all floor boards/planks screwed into each frame element instead of every-other, more drop down windows, more running/brake lights. This trailer has all of those improvements.
Covid hit six months after we got the trailer. Horse show world shut down. We never got back into it to the extent we had been. Consequently the trailer has less than 5000 miles on it. Trailer has never seen northern winter weather. Has been shed kept otherwise.
Except for minor marks on the floor mats from horses doing what horses do, this trailer is virtually indistinguishable from a brand new trailer. It is priced far below current replacement cost.
Check out the photos. Happy to talk with anyone re details and specs 352-736-0045 or email@example.com. The layout, standard features and specifications depicted in the screen shots are accurate with three exceptions. The interior height is a full 8' rather than 7'8". The saddle rack was deleted as it took up too much room in the tack room. The hooks on the tack room rear wall were extended to span the entire wall rather than half of the wall.
We hate standard tape applications. Whether swirly things or multiple lines, whatever. And any tape that's been on a trailer for even a month outside in the sun, in our experience, leaves a shadow in the paint once it's removed. And no matter what you do the shadow doesn't come out. So we ordered this painted a solid custom color with no tape applied. We intended to do custom pinstripes with our farm logo, but never got around to doing either. So basically you have a blank canvas to work with if you want to do any appearance modifications. The Hawk factory painted it with the DuPont grey metallic color identicle to what Toyota painted it's Tundra trucks between, I believe, the 2014 and 2021 model years.
Comes with a seven year manufacturer warranty, the remaining balance of which will transfer to the purchaser at the time of sale.
