In the 1990's, after decades of building and selling trailers, his idea of designing a quality trailer in the Northwest became a dream come true for the Conn Family in Roseburg, Oregon, and it was then that the Thuro-Bilt horse trailer was introduced.
After many years of manufacturing trailers, Richard Conn, our father and the founder of the Thuro-Bilt trailer, decided to finally retire and closed his chapter of life of manufacturing. He and our mom are now enjoying retirement and traveling as he had always dreamed of.
In 2016, Richard Conn’s children decided to dust off the welders, and wanted to continue the legacy of the THURO-BILT horse trailer. We couldn't be more proud of carrying on the product that he built.
The Thuro-Bilt horse trailer had always been a great trailer both for dealers and customers, and proved to be one of the hottest selling trailers in the Northwest. The current staff and design team at Thuro-Bilt, Inc. have many years of manufacturing experience and are excited to see this great trailer be introduced back in the trailer industry.
